M/V AMARSE VOYAGE 08Updated at of 11/29/08Howdy Friends and Family. The cruising plans for AMARSE seem to be constantly changing. This is the way we like it. Spontaneous, Unexpected, and always Enjoyable are the guidelines for our cruising lifestyle.Currently, we have completed our safe crossing back to the US Florida coast and north to Georgia.AMARSE had a delightful voyage from Nettles Island to Brunswick, Georgia. The weather was fantastic and we had a great time. We had the requirement to be out of Florida by June 1 and the beginning of hurricane season. AMARSE will remain outside of Florida until at least November 1st.Our most recent adventure required us to leave AMARSE resting at her berthing dock in Brunswick while we traveled to South America for some exciting times in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Please be sure to read all about it in the Update LogLists 2008.In October, we flew back to San Antonio to attend the wedding of my long-time friend, Joe Fugate, and Roxanne Cady.Scott Kee, the eldest of our Three Amigos, was officially be older than Methuselah on 10/16. Mary threw a great party for the ancient one.Our trip included a gathering in Lufkin, Texas with all of Judy's family for a mini-reunion and a few fun-filled days. All her three sons, their wives, and her six grandchildren joined together for a wonderful time. It had been many years since all could be together at the same time.AMARSE has undertaken her south departure from Brunswick, GA in mid November. Again this winter season, we are securely docked in our favorite slip at Boat Harbour Resort and Marina located in the Bahamas at Marsh Harbour, Abacos. We have so many wonderful friends here.
If you have any special suggestions, please let us know of your ideas. We will update this page when we know more. Thanks for your interest.
